Information for Veterans and Families
- Courage After Fire: Coping strategies for troops returning from Iraq and Afghanistan and their families.
By Keith Armstrong L.C.S.W., Suzanne Best Ph.D. and Paula Domenici, PhD.
I strongly recommend this book for returning veterans and their families. While it is written for our most recent returning veterans, it has good information regarding the management of combat stress reactions for all veterans. The book is written by seasoned VA clinicians with a great deal of experience treating veterans and their families.
Their website has most of the links I would list on mine. http://courageafterfire.com
